Senior Leaders must balance the ongoing complexity of individual, team, and organizational leadership in a time of adaptive challenges. This requires rethinking how it has always been done. Pebble circles offer a way to collectively reimagine leadership in a changing world.

These circles are specifically for VPs and Directors in People & Culture and Corporate Services roles.

Leading a team in today's complex world presents unique challenges for senior People & Culture and Corporate Services leaders. Balancing the diverse needs of team members, informing a people-centric organizational direction, and managing work priorities —all while maintaining personal well-being—requires rethinking how it has always been done.

Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all toolkit or workshop, we are offering a learning experience designed specifically for People & Culture leaders to navigate these complexities together. This experience involves connecting you with an intimate, curated cohort of senior leaders in the people function, and share multi-disciplinary research and thought leadership that will invite you to collectively reimagine leadership.

We will draw on current thought leaders such as Adam Grant, Amy Edmundson, Francis Frei and Anne Morriss, as well as share with you the thinkers that have challenged us to think differently, such as Jennifer Garvey Berger, Ludmila Praslova, Nick Petrie, Amy Elizabeth Fox, Annie Murphy Paul, Heather Plett, Alis Agnostakis, Valerie Livesay, and many more.

Join a highly  curated group of practising People & Culture and Corporate Services leaders to activate a cross industry perspective. Cohorts are intimate, with 4-5 leaders per cohort. You will meet weekly with your cohort, for 8 weeks, for a one hour, self-facilitated converastion about leadership. Content will be curated with cutting edge thought leadership, and discussion guides will be help you to facilitate a meaningful cohort conversation.

Topic Focus:"Reimagining Leadership”. 

Often Corporate Services is seen as the stewards of leadership in an organization, from strategic insights to operational application. It can be a tall order to strike the right balance in supporting your leaders in moving forward. Below are examples of topics you will explore more deeply:

  • the evolution of leadership in the face of adaptive challenges and complexity
  • moving from self awareness to self connection
  • the evolution of inclusion in leadership
  • the polarity of accountability and care
  • management vs. leadership and moving towards both/and mindsets
  • the unseen genius of the collective
  • leaving behind the five-year strategic plan: from strategy, towards strategic foresight
  • balancing the individual and the system through transformation

Weekly Structure:

  • Curated Content: Receive materials to read, listen to, or watch. At most one hour of content to digest prior to your weekly conversation.
  • Cohort Conversations: Engage in 1-hour weekly discussions supported by a detailed discussion guide, and each member has an opportunity to lead the conversation.
  • Community Connection: Interact with Pebble facilitators and other cohorts to enhance your learning experience at the beginning, midpoint and end.

  • Weekly Leadership Content: 1 hour at your own pace.
  • Cohort Meetings: 1 hour weekly at a convenient time.
  • Group Learning: 3 x 1.5 hours sessions, spread across 8 week
  • Outcome: Stronger connections, practical activities, and a reshaped leadership approach.
